Composting Informational Campaign

Project Details

Overview

For this design research project, my focus was on the factors contributing to composting at SLC Kingston campus, to increase participation. Primary and secondary research was gathered, analyzing the data and coming up with a design solution.

Once the design mandates were determined and after user testing was completed. It was time to design. The bright colours that are in the design were chosen through the desirability testing that was conducted. I created all the illustrations myself and gave some of them characters to add an element of fun to the design. Adding in these small details helps draw attention.

The campaign consists of informational posters for display around the collage as well as a tall banner with instructions on how to sort your waste. In addition, pins would be created with illustrations and catchy headlines a fun little reminder
